Туман и почта // Some fog and USPS

Сегодня туман и туманище, Эмпайр стейт билдинг в тумане, на улице туман, а потом по плану и дождь. Тепло, влажность почти как во Вьетнашечке. На нашей улице продают цветы и деревья, и между ними совсем зелено и влажно

А я пошла на почту. Работник почты находится полностью за стеклом. Для приема посылок есть специальная система образца „двери Рейхстага“: Чтобы отдать работнику посылку, надо открыть стекло, поставить за него посылку, закрыть стекло со своей стороны, и тогда он может открыть стекло со своей и взять коробку в руки. Безопасность прежде всего, никто не хочет „Взять почту, телефон, телеграф“. 

This is what I call fog! Empire state building covered in fog, the streets are grey, it’s warm and the humidity makes me think of Vietnam. There is a green trees and flowers market in our street and the humidity is very authentic in these tree blocks.

So I just packed my things and went to the post office to return my shoes. If you want your package to be weighted, you come to the counter, which is all made of glass, you open the glass „door“ over the counter, you put your box in there - close in „door“!, and now close it better - and then the postal worker opens their glass part of the counter and can take your box to put it on the scale. It only is safe when one part is closed. It is a little bit lithe the doors in Reichstag in Berlin, where you first come through one door and wait for the other one to open.
