Hell of a Mr. Softee

В Curb your enthusiasm есть специальный эпизод о том, как Ларри Дэвид не любит вагончики с мороженым. Их слышно даже на моем 20 этаже, как такое возможно? В хорошие дни он проезжает мимо, в плохие он останавливается и пилит свой музыкальный ад. Готова поспорить, что в эти дни с длинной остановкой внутри сидит кто-то и выслеживает кого-то, кто сидит дома и отказывается выходить. Они думают, что если остановятся на подольше и поиграют эту музыку не минуту, а семь, но тот выслеживаемый сойдет с ума и сам выбежит. Я сама готова выбежать.

In Curb your enthusiasm there is an episode about Larry's negative attitude towards the Mr. Softee ice trucks. You really can hear them even in the 20th floor, is it even possible? On good days it passes the building and goes in some other street, on the worse ones it stops and plays its hell song for ages. On these "long" days there certainly is someone int he truck spying on somebody else, and this particular somebody probable doesn't want to come out of their house, so the music is there to get the person crazy and make them run out into the street, and there - hahaaa! - you can spy on them as long as you want.
